Be the change you want to see in the world

This photo was taken during a wonderful afternoon in Greece... A day when there was no global warming in my world and I did not know that the word "environment friendly" will become a marketing label...
Human race is acting like a locust on Earth, that is true, but they do not know better... They will learn in time, this cycle or the next cycle or another cycle... Is difficult to learn respect in a world without respect... Is difficult to learn love in a world without love... Human kind will evolve with small steps... Maybe this cycle we will learn to respect all forms of life... Maybe the next cycle will learn how to use green energy... This is not the first time at the edge of auto destruction...
Instead blaming around we better learn how to plant our own vegetables, help our neighbors or even our families, and protect any forms of life around us... Human race has a great potential and has to understand that... and believe it...
Earth, if we stop polluting it, will regenerate... Similar to our bodies... Similar to the Universe... Because we are all connected...
We are energy, and is all about energy and what we project into our global consciousness... Because of that the only thing I have to say and was already said millions of time is:

I have the same kind of optimistic patience that you express in your words here, yes, humanity will evolve. It may be small steps for awhile, but it is my belief that we are moving in the direction of a little leap, a shift, that when significant numbers of people, like you and like me, are accumulated, the majority of the mass of humanity, will simply “be there”, without the effort some of us have had to utilize to reach our own understandings. That is my heart-full belief.
I believe you are correct “We are energy, and it is all about energy and what we project into our global consciousness” and that is why the 9:09 Gaia Minute prayer / meditation is important and why it will have an impact. Its exciting to think I might see that little leap in my lifetime and recognize it is so.

We talk so much about all the bad events, what if we just switch and say that is all over? And what if with a little prayer, a daily meditation, like Gaia Minute, with a shift in our attention, with daily simple things… we can change everything?
I believe we have a future… and I believe that the children of Earth will live in a different beautiful new world…

I love your post, Asteri. It gave me a feeling I am struggling to describe… something in between longing and optimism and hope. Let Mahatma Gandi's words live on… Gaia will help do that. Our community and Mother Earth alike.
